This coverage safeguards against loss or damage during transit. For additional protection, we partner with ShipSmart, our preferred Third Party Provider, which offers coverage up to $2,500.00 for loss or damage in transit. You can easily purchase ShipSmart coverage directly through the GShipUS.com shipment request form, and since we work closely with ShipSmart's local team, your insured value and customs declaration value can differ, allowing you to select the coverage that best suits your needs.
Claims need to be made within 3 business days of confirmed delivery by the courier and are made directly to GShipUS.com representatives. Receipts & Proof of purchase are not required when shipping directly with GShipUS.com. Claims are subject to an investigation period of no longer than 10 business days.
The maximum value of cover we provide is $2,500.00 per consignment.
